Matching 2nd fix wood components is not always an off-the-shelf possibility, but now sourcing skirting boards, architraves and other machined profilesa to complement a particular wood floor, worktop or door has been made easier.

Machining wood (particulalry hardwood) requires a special 'knowledge' - the kind that only a compny with Brill Sawmills' understanding and experience can offer. At Brill Sawmills we produce our own mouldings from fully kiln drid sawn lumbers, both standard designs and bespoke profiles that are specially machined to match any hardwood flooring. These include skirtings, architraves, dados, cladding and decorative mouldings. The work is done cost efficiently in a modern machining mill to a high standard.

All wood is available in a choice of real wood species and pre-sanded ready for convenient on-site installation.

With some 35 hardwood and softwood species in stock, choice shouldn't ever be a problem either.

Some standard profiles (par, window boards, skirtings and architraves) could well already be in stock with immeditate access and delivery.

For a bespoke profile - something a bit special and individual - if you produce a 'spec' (or simply a sketch of what you need) we will do the rest: a detal drawing, create the cutter, carefully select the wood, skillfully machine it and get your mouldings to you as scheduled.
