Brill Sawmills was initially conceived, as a business, to bring beautiful hardwood products directly into the self-build and renovation market. As part of our commitment we have three stands in the National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon where we offer advice and guidance on ‘expert days’ and regularly lecture on the benefits and technical aspects of hardwood in the home.

We have three exhibition stands permanently positioned in the centre displaying some of our floors, doors, windows and stairs and we attend the special event weekends and expert days to offer help and advice.
The National Self Build and Renovation Centre
The National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon is the only purpose built, permanent exhibition centre in the UK. If you are planning a self-build project, a renovation, or just looking for inspiration, the centre is a fantastic resource no matter what stage you are at. The centre is open all year round with special events scheduled throughout the year, where teams of experts are on hand to answer any technical questions and talk through your project.
Over 240 companies exhibit at the centre, displaying an enormous range of goods and services from ground works through to fixtures and fittings. All the stands are organised in such a way that as you walk through the centre you go on a journey through a build, with educational zones positioned around the exhibition space showcasing the products from the stands in situ. There are also two fully finished show homes built in the centre and a renovation house showing what can be achieved through a well planned renovation.
Brill Sawmills has three permanent exhibition stands displaying some of the beautiful hardwood products we offer; including engineered floors, stunning solid oak windows, bespoke external doors and a solid oak staircase constructed in both a traditional and a contemporary style. We are regularly invited by the centre to give seminars on event weekends and always attend the expert days to give free advice on hardwood in your home.
